The apartments at 4155-63 Magnolia are each unique and full of delightful historic detail. Most are one-bedroom apartments that consist of either three or four large rooms. There are three two-bedroom apartments in the building that consist of five large rooms. Each apartment also has a dressing room, which can hold a small desk or chest. Included in the rental price is a gas range, frost-free refrigerator, energy efficient window-unit air conditioning, trash, recycling, water, sewer, heat, and all gas utilities. Residents pay their own electric and internet. In the back yard is a large landscaped garden with mature trees and a pergola. Part of the garden is enclosed by a picket fence and serves as an organic community garden for residents. Plots may be available for a nominal fee (you are welcome to ask). Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or anywhere on the premises. A large laundry room is in the basement. You are welcome to store your locked bicycle at your own risk in the laundry room (please make sure the laundry room is locked, and it should be fine). Parking is available first-come, first-served at the back of the building. You may not need a car to live here. The location is in the Shaw Neighborhood, with the world-renowned Missouri Botanical Garden a short walk away. Across the street is magnificent Tower Grove Park, a Victorian treasure that is designated as a National Historic Landmark. Every Saturday for most of the year there are dozens of vendors at the Tower Grove Farmers Market, a two-block walk from here. Enjoy many restaurants, coffee houses, and delightful shopping nearby. If you don't have renters' insurance, you must carry SF Shannon's "Tenant Liability Insurance" for a nominal fee of $10.50 per month. This insurance covers accidental or unintentional damages to the apartment and building, but not to your personal possessions. Thank you! We are happy to answer any questions or schedule a viewing.
