It's no secret that many people move to the DTC to be close to work, but the interesting part is that almost everyone ends up falling in love with the local trails and parkland. There are many green spaces dotting the area, the most notable being Wallace and Rosamund Park. The Cherry Creek State Park, with its massive reservoir, hiking trails, golf course and off-leash dog run, is just a few minutes away.

Travel to the city center is relatively quick and a drive to LoDo is only about 15-20 minutes. Light rail takes a little longer, but it affords an efficient way to explore the other communities along the way to downtown. Of course, many people who live in and around the DTC simply enjoy the nearby events and the comfort of being part of their own community.
