121 E. 22nd is the first ground-up residential building in Manhattan by world-renowned architectural firm Oma. The building’s design was inspired by its location, wedged between the more secluded Gramercy Park and the hyper-bustling Madison Square Park. Thanks to its L-shaped design, 121 E. 22nd activates three street fronts while referencing Cubist artwork that strives to view objects from a multitude of viewpoints at once.
Cubism is brought into the residences themselves as well through 67 unique and angular floor plans spread across 18 floors and two residential towers. While units that face the courtyard offer lush views all year long, corner units frame the bustling street life below. The flooring is while oak while large windows bring in tons of natural light that bounces off the high ceilings. Select units also enjoy private terraces while many floorplans offer space for home offices.
Residents of the building enjoy access to a number of amenities that include a resident’s lounge and terrace, a screening room, a rooftop community terrace, a pool, fitness center, and more.
