Taxi deserves quite an introduction. Developed by Zepplin and Co. beginning with the opening of Mickie's office in 2001, Taxi has grown to six buildings totalling 210,000 square feet of commercial and office space, 44 residential units, plus an exercise facility, pool, garden and movie area. With completion of all phases through the 20 acre community Taxi will be more than 800,000 square feet of mixed-use space. Taxi is known for it's inspiring architectural designs and integration of new and used material. Zeppelin incorporated the old Yellow Cab Depot with modern structures, reused tempered hockey glass panels from the Pepsi Center, turned old bowling lanes into furniture and work stations and the old conveyor belts of the old freight terminal are even used as fencing. Amenities include bike sharing, pool, reserved parking, guest parking, organic community garden and an outdoor cinema.
