Bridges on the Park

Designed by local modernist Tom Hurt, Bridges on the Park is named for the Lamar Street auto bridge and the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge that bring it "into the thick of things" while it sits quietly on the lake's southern shore. Indeed, its minimalist but textured "Zen" spaces make it seem the like "introvert" of Austin's condominiums—but not for want of things to do! Residents enjoy spacious, 1- and 2-bedroom units within walking distance to Barton Springs Pool, the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum, Zilker Park, Auditorium Shores, the Ann & Roy Butler hike & bike trail, all the restaurants on South Lamar & Barton Springs Road, and (soon) to Trader Joe's across the lake. The Butler Park Pitch & Putt lies across the street, leaving open green-space for east-facing units (and a great place for golf lovers to spend Sunday afternoon!). Upper floors have lovely views of the skyline.
