Getting to and from the condo buildings in Palm Beach Gardens is easy via Florida's Turnpike, State Highway 9 and FL-710. The city's limits cut and angle in the west as the borders wrap around the North Palm Beach County Airport and the Grassy Waters Preserve. In general, it is a large city geographically, filled with placid waterways and many gated residential communities and condominium complexes. The main commercial corridor, with shops, entertainment and daily essentials, runs along PGA Boulevard, crosses the highways and ends at the Intracoastal Waterway. The northern neighbors are Jupiter and some communities in unincorporated Palm Beach County, and Juno Beach, Juno Ridge, North Palm Beach and Lake Park are to the east along the coast.
Along with golf, baseball is also a popular pastime in the area. Some MLB teams do spring training in the area. The St Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins train at the Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, and the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals keep in form at FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches. Both venues are well within reach of Palm Beach Gardens for a day trip — or even a spur-of-the-moment outing. In general, people love condo living here for access to world-class golf, but there's also plenty of natural recreation, access to highways and day-to-day convenience that makes the city a good choice for year-round living and vacationing alike.
