North Palm Beach, FL, originated as a planned community in the middle of the 20th century. Since then, it has become home to some of the more desirable addresses in southeast Florida. There are meticulously appointed waterfront mansions and sky-high penthouses in modern towers along the coast, and a wide range of condo living for nearly any lifestyle or budget throughout this coastal community. The geography is more water than land, thanks to the fact that the limits span the width of the Intracoastal Waterway. (read more about North Palm Beach)

The town of North Palm Beach is mostly residential, with sleepy cul-de-sacs and sleek condo developments. The town is defined and divided by water, creating two distinct residential regions: the island and the inland area. Island residents access their homes via Highway One or Lighthouse Drive. The eastern border of the town is the ocean, with Juno Ridge to the north and Lake Park to the south. For nightlife, most residents tend to head over to nearby West Palm Beach, one of the more dense urban areas of the region. The relatively short drive down Highway One gives access to several notable museums, theater performances, nightlife and everything else expected of a contemporary urban center.
Residents also have plenty of recreational opportunities closer to home. Golfers may know of North Palm Beach as home to the eponymous country club with a golf course designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus. Golf is one of the defining amenities of Palm Beach County, and there are also many other courses available within 10 to 15 minutes' drive of the town. Another way that North Palm Beach stands out from its Palm Beach County neighbors is the proximity of the John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, which is right across the Intracoastal Waterway from the residential part of town. This natural recreational resource features nature trails, serene views of the Atlantic, aquatic activities and even a pedestrian bridge offering unique perspectives on the cove and its varied wildlife.
