What is the probability of construction? Are there less expensive units available than the two identified on the internet? What restaurant is planned?
As a resident of the Alnari, I am concerned about traffic one The Modern, Cityside, and The Blvd. are complete

Hello Bradley,
My apology for not getting back to you sooner. In response to your questions, Cityside, in the Rosemary District, is already leasing its residences (228 units). "The Boulevard Sarasota", a 51 unit project is beyond planning and is scheduled to break ground around the fourth quarter of this year. It will include retail/office space and a restaurant (yet to be determined).
Your concern about traffic, I believe, is well-founded and the city and county commissioners seem to be in constant meetings regarding how to ease the traffic in this
fast-growing area. Options seem limited so only time will tell what they will implement to ease the road burden. Add to the above mentioned projects, there are over 4,000 new apartments, condos, and hotel rooms in some stage at this time in downtown Sarasota, including Embassy Suites Hotel, The Jewel condos, The Vue, The "Q", Sansara, just to mention a few. I have helped numerous buyers purchase units in this area simply because they want to be part of the Sarasota vibe - arts, entertainment, fabulous restaurants and shopping, Sarasota Bay, and access to the keys. The projects are expensive as are the residences and the buyers are well-heeled. Lower-priced projects don't seem to be in the offering at this time.
