Pelican Bay Condos

Pelican Bay, FL, is an unincorporated community just north of Naples along the Gulf of Mexico coastline. The northern border of the community is the Vanderbilt Beach Road, which divides pelican Bay from Vanderbilt Beach and Naples Park. It's bordered to the east by the Highway 41, the Tamiami Trail, which forms the region's most important intercity quarter. This throughway connects the sleepy enclave to many regional and state points of interest, such as Tampa, Fort Myers, the Everglades and even Miami. As such it is relatively easy to drive anywhere from Pelican Bay, whether the aim is a short jaunt or an extended road trip. (read more about living in Pelican Bay)

Pelican Bay Condo Living

Pelican Bay is unique because of Clam Pass, an extensive green space that runs almost the entire coastline of the community. At the north end of this picturesque natural preserve, there is a small enclave of high-end condominium developments called Bay Colony. Properties include the Ritz-Carlton, Naples, the Brighton at Bay Colony and the Contessa Condominiums. These homes and accommodations are located on the area's eponymous Bay Colony Drive, but there are comparable towers along the entire stretch of Pelican Bay Boulevard as it winds its way down the coastline.

One of the reasons that people love living in Pelican Bay is the access to high-end luxury and the connection to nature. It is also an excellent place for golf, with many of the region's legendary golf courses only a few minutes' drive away, either up or down the highway. The Artis-Naples community center and museum is available for those who want to take in an evening performance — or have simply had a bit too much exposure to the southern Florida sun. For those who want it all and want to relax while enjoying it, Pelican Bay would be a sensible place to start.
