Downtown Miami Condos

Miami ranges wide, culturally and geographically. If you know you want to look at condos downtown but you're not sure where to start, please read on for some information that could help focus your search.

When most people talk about downtown Miami, they're referring to a wide geographical area that even includes a few islands. Naturally, it is difficult to make generalizations about any area of this size in a city as densely populated as Miami. A conservative map would put the borders between the Rickenbacker Causeway and the Julia Tuttle causeway. The most liberal definition is that it extends down to Coconut Grove in the south, Shorecrest in the north and Flagami in the west. Generally speaking, the bay is the eastern border, but Brickell Key, Dodge Island, Virginia Key, Watson Island and Venetian Islands are also usually included in the greater downtown area. (read more about living in Downtown Miami)
