Hollywood, FL, has meandering borders that run against many of the surrounding areas, including Hallandale Beach, Dania Beach, Pembroke Pines, Cooper City, Davie, Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Park, West Park and the Fort Lauderdale Airport. However, the most significant neighbor is probably the Atlantic Ocean, which gives the city its impressive stretch of coastline along the length of the iconic Hollywood Beach neighborhood. Hollywood is directly south of Fort Lauderdale and only about half an hour drive from downtown Miami (read more about Hollywood). Below you'll find all Hollywood Florida Condos for sale, sorted by price. Hollywood Beach has some of the most desirable real estate in the city, as it forms the cultural corridor, restaurant nexus, recreation center and main entertainment source for the city and some of the neighboring communities. A boardwalk stretches over two miles along the Atlantic coast, with facilities for beachside walking, rollerblading, biking and jogging. On the other side of the neighborhood and to the north, there's a wealth of natural recreation available at the Anne Kolb Nature Center and the Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park. These expansive green areas include walkways for birdwatching, lagoons for kayaking and fishing, beaches for swimming and various waterways for diving and exploration.
Prospective buyers looking for the true oceanside living that Hollywood has to offer should probably consider searching along Ocean Drive. This thoroughfare runs the length of the Hollywood Beach neighborhood, divided into north and south sections at the intersection with Hollywood Boulevard. Some of the most distinctive properties in town can be found along a stretch of South Ocean right after the end of the boardwalk, where the peninsula narrows and all that stands to the east of the glitzy condo towers and high-end hotels is the endless expanse of the Atlantic. The Diplomat Oceanfront Residences are a good example of the potential of luxury living in Hollywood, with many multi-million-dollar condos, private elevators and panoramic ocean views. However, there is something for every lifestyle and purchase budget within the city limits.
