Downtown Atlanta Condos & Lofts

Downtown Atlanta is the financial center of the city. For many years, this was a bustling neighborhood during the day but was a virtual ghost town come evening as professionals left their offices for their homes in other neighborhoods. Thanks to a revitalization that was largely started by the 1996 Atlanta Olympic games, Downtown is now a destination for entertainment and housing too. Older buildings are being torn down, refurbished or converted into modern lofts and condominiums. In order to accommodate the millions of visitors that come to Downtown each year, there has also been a significant increase in the number of hotels, shops and restaurants.

Great Reasons to Live Downtown

There's so much to do within a small distance when you live downtown.  Major attractions include Centennial Olympic Park, The Georgia Aquarium, CNN Center, World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Dome, just to name a few. Downtown is also a major transportation hub for the city; Marta is centered there and many of the roadways converge there. This makes travel to other cities and neighborhoods some of the most convenient in Atlanta. Downtown includes the neighborhoods of Castleberry Hill, Centennial Hill, Fairlie-Poplar, Five Points, Railroad District, SoNo and the Hotel District; it is also adjacent to Midtown. With all the conveniences that Downtown has to offer, it is no surprise that it is one of the fastest growing residential neighborhoods in Atlanta.

Downtown Atlanta Lofts

If you'd prefer a warehouse loft to a luxury condo, downtown Atlanta has many options from which to choose. Most of these are traditional hard lofts with many of the building's elements incorporated into the homes, like exposed brick, columns and ductwork.
