Restaurants Open for Thanksgiving Dinner in Fort Worth
Not everyone has the time or the desire to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. The hours of preparation may be part of the appeal of the holiday for some, but for those who would rather not bother, there are a number of Fort Worth restaurants ready to come to the rescue. Whether you’re looking to eat out, or simply have someone else do the heavy lifting for your family meal at home, here are a few turkey day options that don’t involve staying in the kitchen all day (and note that making reservations is highly recommended, if not required!):
Eddie V’s Prime Seafood
If you’re planning on being near West 7th on Thanksgiving, Eddie V’s will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey, stuffing, acorn squash, and pumpkin pie for dessert. Serving 11 AM – 8 PM.
The Capital Grille
In addition to their full regular menu, The Capital Grille on Main Street is offering their take on a turkey dinner, with mashed potatoes for the table to share. And don’t miss out on pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Serving 11 AM – 9 PM.
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House
Del Frisco’s is offering a three-course holiday smorgasbord this Thanksgiving, with turkey and all the trimmings, plus your choice of holiday appetizer and dessert. Serving 12 – 8 PM.
If you’re looking for a more unique take on Thanksgiving dinner, head downtown to Simply Fondue, where their multi-course Thanksgiving menu offers cheese and dessert fondues, as well as turkey, stuffing, ham and more. Serving 11 AM – 6 PM.
Still want to have the home-cooked meal experience without actually doing the home cooking? Here are a few options for fully-cooked Thanksgiving meals you can order and serve at home:
Central Market is offering a variety of fully prepared Thanksgiving dinners for pick-up, from roasted turkey to beef tenderloin, and even a low-gluten or vegetarian option. Pick-up is available through Thanksgiving Day.
Another option for a home-cooked meal without the cooking is Whole Foods, with the added bonus that these meals can be ordered online. Choices include a variety of turkeys, hams, as well as a full Thanksgiving spread with all the trimmings.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit
With several locations in Fort Worth to choose from, Dickey’s offers a convenient Thanksgiving dinner with a barbecue twist. Choices include fried or smoked turkey and a traditional spiral ham or barbecue honey ham, with or without sides. Note that all Dickey’s locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, so plan accordingly.
