Brunch is traditionally associated with Sunday, but what if you’re in the mood for a mimosa a day early? Luckily, many Fort Worth restaurants are beginning to offer brunch on Saturdays as well. Here is a guide to only a few of the city’s Saturday brunch offerings.
Little Red Wasp
Serving brunch 10-4 on Saturdays and Sundays, Little Red Wasp offers staples such as french toast and corned beef hash, as well as a hearty short rib eggs Benedict. Entrees are priced $8-$26.
Max’s Wine Dive
Served 10-3 on Saturdays, Max’s Wine Dive’s brunch offerings include Texas Peach Melba french toast, a fried egg sandwich, biscuits and gravy, and their famous Southern Fried Chicken. Entrees run $10-$18.
Joe T. Garcia’s
Fort Worth favorite Joe T’s offers a traditional Tex-Mex brunch menu 11-3, with dishes like chiliquiles, huevos rancheros, migas, and menudo - the perfect hangover cure after a long Friday night! As always, Joe T's is cash only, and there is an ATM on site.
Taverna’s brunch offerings, served 11-3 on Saturdays, include the Italian-inspired polenta & eggs al forno as well as a variety of omelettes. Dishes are priced $9.95-$16.50, with mimosas and bellinis priced under $2.
Magnolia Avenue’s Brewed serves brunch 9-2:30 Saturdays, with dishes such as chicken and waffles, steak and fries, and scotch eggs, as well as a variety of local coffee. Entrees run $6.50-$18.50.
