Few US cities are growing as quickly as Nashville. The Country Music Capital of the World, Nashville is proving that it has much more to offer than just its deeply vibrant musical roots. From young professionals, to millennial hipsters, to those seeking one of the most dynamic urban scenes in the country, the people flocking to Nashville aren’t just looking for your average run-of-the-mill apartments; they want places that feature an eclectic mix of old and new, of industrial and modern, of that quintessential spirit of a city that has something for everyone. Developers across the region are giving prospective buyers exactly what they crave. With a host of new buildings planned, Nashville represents a real estate market that is preparing for a boom as far as newcomers anxious to call Music City home.

Modular and Metal – An Innovative Trend in Condo Living

Alloy is an 82 residence condo development with a twist. Located just south of downtown, the condos in this project are constructed of steel storage containers. Completely a modular-based build out, this development will have an “urban village” feel to it, meaning that residents of the complex will have plenty of spaces to congregate and relax. Not to mention, with its Tech Hill location, Alloy provides easy access to an abundance of retail shops, restaurants and entertainment.

Nashville Yards –The City’s Newest “Live/Work/Play” Concept

Taking advantage of 15 square acres situated at the “gateway” to downtown, the Nashville Yards project is all about creating a lifestyle. It will feature everything from a four-acre venue in which concerts and sporting events will be held, to a bevy of restaurants and shops, to of course, amenity-filled condos and other such multi-family units. One of the central goals of this project is to maintain the historic feel and integrity of the area while blending this with the latest in technology-forward construction practices and sustainable design.

New Nashville High-Rises

There are several new, widely anticipated high-rise projects around the city. The 505 tower situated in the heart of central downtown is scheduled to start offering its high-rise apartments and penthouses for rent come October, and the top 1/3 of the building for sale beginning in early 2018. Nashville’s tallest downtown high-rise, the amenities here will include a fitness center, a private theater and even in-house dog grooming services. Another development on the horizon is CityLights (pictured right), a luxury 11 story building with a total of 71 condos available. CityLights is located atop Rutledge Hill which will allow residents excellent views of the city. And with a host of amenities from 24/7 concierge service to a state-of-the-art pool, as well as designated yoga areas, this development is designed to cater to urbanites looking for both comfort and relaxation while still being convenient to all of the excitement that Nashville has to offer.

Nashville is certainly thriving. The bustle of real estate activity and large-scale development projects suggest that the city is poised to grow even more. And it’s no wonder given the diverse, fun and exciting profile of America’s Music City.
