Improving Tourism Good for Hawaii Economy

I just read another very positive report on how improved tourism is assisting the Hawaii economy out of recession.

According to Economists at the University of Hawaii, they now predict that the rebounding tourist and visitor industry will begin spilling over into other economic sectors in 2011.  Read the rest of the article, "Tourism silver lining in a cloudy economy".

Oahu is expected to be the chief beneficiary because more Asians travel to Oahu than they do to the neighbor Islands, and that travel segment has benefited from the strong economies in the Far East.
