For many, a day is not complete without a cup of coffee, and with a Starbucks on nearly every corner, you’re never far from an espresso or iced mocha. But for those who seek a cappuccino without the corporate coffee atmosphere, there are still many wonderful options.

Casablanca Coffee

This cozy downtown Fort Worth coffee house is perfect for those grabbing a cup on their way to work. Try the Casablanca latte, the Moroccan mint tea, and a crepe – or two. Closed weekends.

Avoca Coffee Roasters
Magnolia’s Avoca is a true coffeehouse – roasting is done in house, and the focus is definitely on the beans. The spacious interior is full of comfortable seating, making it the perfect place to sit with a latte and work, study, or just relax. Their coffee is also available at retailers like Central Market and Whole Foods, if you’d like to brew at home.

Brewed
Located on Magnolia Avenue, not far from Avoca, is Brewed. This near Southside favorite is brewing up coffee, tea and beer, and all of their coffee – and many of their craft beers – comes from local sources. Brewed’s menu is full of fresh, made-in-house dishes like pot roast, bacon mac and cheese, and some seriously delicious desserts. Come in for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner and enjoy your choice of brew. Closed Mondays.

World Blend

North Fort Worth’s World Blend is a unique combination of coffee shop and copy shop – there’s a shipping area inside, so you can take care of your mail while you sip a cappuccino! With live music, events like Kids’ Story Time and Adult Coloring Book Nights, a dedicated study room, and a wide variety of sweet treats to choose from, World Blend is a coffeehouse like no other.

Buon Giorno Coffee
Located in downtown Fort Worth, Buon Giorno is dedicated to replicating a European-style coffee experience. Made from beans roasted in-house at their Grapevine location, their coffee is perfect for those with discriminating tastes. With ample seating, free Wi-fi, and even a selection of board games to play while you sip, Buon Giorno is a relaxing and fun place to spend an afternoon.

The Cup Expresso Bar
This Camp Bowie hotspot is the perfect place to relax with a drink, whether it’s morning or evening. Not only does The Cup serve up coffee, pastries and sandwiches during the day, but at night it transforms into The Sip, a wine bar with a wide selection of small-bites plates and nightly dinner specials to enjoy. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
