For over 20 years, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra has sponsored Concerts in the Garden, a series of outdoor concerts held in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. This year’s festivities begin June 3 and run weekends through July 4, with 16 nights of concerts, each topped off with a nightly spectacular fireworks show.

With a wide variety of performers – scheduled acts include the “kings of Texas swing” Asleep at the Wheel, local pop-country favorites Green River Ordinance, and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra themselves performing everything from Pink Floyd to the music of Star Wars – there’s certainly something for everyone to enjoy. Both table seating and lawn seating are available, and guests are encouraged to pack a picnic basket and blanket to get the most out of the festival-like atmosphere (can you say “BYOB”?). The Gardens Restaurant also provides concessions like hot dogs, cotton candy, and beverages.

Advance tickets are available for sale on the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s website. Check out FWSO’s Twitter and Facebook for weather notices and updates.
