With the California Pacific Medical Center moving to its new location on Van Ness in 2019, a vision to develop the site is moving forward, called Thirty-Seven Hundred California. The plan calls for a mix of 240 new high-end homes to be built on the site of what will be the former historical hospital campus. SocketSite reported recently that the nearly five acres will become 12 new single-family homes, 14 new three-story townhomes and 214 multi-family units. All of the new homes will be market rate. The project involved 18 months of meetings, a neighborhood survey, and input from local community leaders.
