Condominium sales throughout San Francisco were up in November of this year, with a 15% increase over November of 2015, and a 4% increase from the prior month of October. This was a welcomed change considering this past summer home values reportedly fell to levels reminiscent of 2008, and some Bay Area homeowners struggled to sell their properties. By the end of November we learned that things had taken a turn for the better, according to the California Association of Realtors. Bay Area sales for single family homes and condos had increased overall by 10% in November, and things were said to be heating up. This article in Housingwire published earlier this month sheds some light on why and how long this could last.
