You may have heard of the Pinnacle, the towering glass luxury condo along W. Lakeside, if you haven’t I’m sure you’ve seen it. 
What you may not have heard of is the building right next to it. The Cloak Factory is a century-old garment building converted into apartments and then condos. It is owned by the same company which owns The Pinnacle and shares many of Pinnacle’s amenities including its state of the art fitness center overlooking the lake. Aside from that, these buildings couldn’t be more different. Where the Pinnacle screams new construction and walls of glass, The Cloak Factory is more exposed brick walls and wood beams. They are both terrific Warehouse District options in their own right but usually appeal to very different buyers.
The Cloak Factory is very charming and is a terrific option for the buyer who is looking for a lot of space in the area for a more affordable price. There are only a handful of condos in the building starting in the low $300,000s. Units feature some wonderful views, luxurious finishes and high ceilings.
