Oleander Place town homes is currently working towards receiving their plats so that pre-sales may begin on their new town home development at S. Adams and Oleander in Fort Worth South. Ground work for the infrastructure required to receive a plat is to begin by the first of October according to Phillip Ratkovic of the MI Group, the developers involved in the project. He believes the 2,000+ square feet townhomes will be ready for occupancy by mid 2008. According to Ratkovic the first phase units will be 3-stories with roof-top decks plumbed for barbeques and hot tubs and will include two car garages. The overall design of the project has a very popular updated traditional appeal and an "urban village" approach that city planners have been touting in recent years. Ratkovic believes the units should be priced around $155/square foot or approximately $310,000. Very competitive considering their nearby competitors Magnolia Green town homes and Texana town homes are both priced above this level.
