Our information today may be on the light side, but this is Heavy stuff!  This may be the best article I have read in some time.  Please read this thoroughly.  It may take a few reads to get, but the author CYRIL MOULLE-BERTEAUX makes some very strong points and has obviously done some homework.  I love the comparisons to past cycles.

More WSJ Good News!

 Good news...  MBS (Mortgage Backed Securities) are the true drivers of our rates and product lines.  The fact that Wall Street is starting to re-look at these securities is a good sign for us.

Although, I firmly believe the loan programs of the previous 3-4 years have been too Loosey Goosey, I now believe the pendulum has swung WAY too far to the other side.  I really hope this opens things up for our JUMBO Loans as well as many of our Self Employed products that have historically performed.

FNMA (Fannie Mae)...
Coming Through For Us

FNMA has opted NOT to raise the Down Payment requirements for new homeowners.  This news greatly effects depreciating markets (North Texas does not fit into this mold), but we will reap the benefit, to be sure.
