Poncey-Highland is a neighborhood just south of Virginia-Highland and is named so for the intersection of Ponce de Leon and North Highland Avenues. Poncey-Highland is also the home of Freedom Park, which includes the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum. Freedom Park is the largest public green space set aside in a major metropolitan area in the United States in the last century.
